21st Century Teaching

Today I assigned a Thesaurus activity, based on the language of the Declaration of Independence.

There were 18 students in the class:

• Two went to the computer to look up the words
• Twelve downloaded apps and used their phones or iPods
• Three scanned through the pages of something called a "book"
